NANOMAT spans over two academic years, and requires the acquisition of 120 ECTS credits (60 ECTS per year). The study-programme is full-time and the language of instruction in the first year is French, Dutch or English, and just English in the second year. Optional, but credited, language courses are offered in each of the languages of the countries involved in the Consortium (English excepted).
The program is subdivided into four semesters, distributed in time according to the indicative scheme.

Upon background, students can be waived 60 ECTS and be authorized to join directly the second master year at UPMC in Paris.
